I got into ayurveda almost by mistake. Yet, it answered all the questions I had about how beauty and wellness can mingle under one holistic therapeutic system.
Ayurveda is a sanskrit word literally meaning "Science of Life". I view it simply as the Art of Loving Oneself on a daily basis.
The whole approach of ayurveda is based upon the idea that massaging the skin not only helps the body heal, but it is a gesture that shows that we care for ourselves, which helps us care for others as well.
I created Shreyas Ayurvedic Skincare "cosm'ethic" line to provide to women with an alternative to what's currently in the market. Yes, there are more and more 100% natural brands blooming around the world. But I have not found any that currently mix the ancient wisdom of ayurveda, with the knowledge of aromatherapy, all while using precious organic ingredients currently growing thanks to the devoted hands of African farmers. Oils like organic argan oil, only found in Morocco and produced the old way by brave Moroccan women; Baobab oil, cold-pressed nuts of trees old of hundreds of years, avocado, aloe vera, neem or even jojoba oils - all take part in the production of Shreyas Ayurvedic Skincare line.
They smell heavenly - some with the sweet and spicy scents that you could find in any traditional Indian kitchen; some subtle with fragrances like rosewood or pure rose essential oil; some decadent and even sensual like ylang ylang or jasmine. As a matter of convenience, all the products are tridoshic; therefore, they will fit everyone (every constitution). I also do custom orders, based on an individual's imbalance or needs. The sky's the limit and it is all made with love of what I do, with my own hands, in my home-based laboratory.
